You remember these "new" trends from back in the day.
So recently I have been noticing that a lot of 90's trends are making a comeback. Don't believe me? Check out this article!
Anyway, it really hit me when I saw these next few dresses. Not only did my older cousin Eileen rock similar dresses when she was in high school, she might still have them stuffed away somewhere! The 90s are back, ladies! And that's okay, cause they were ALLLLLLLL THAT!!!! ;)

Okay, I feel I've seen just about every mom I know wearing this. (Granted it was when they were in their late 20s and early 30s.) But as a child, I was surrounded by some very fashion forward ladies and they definitely had this style of jumper!

Now what do you think Topanga would say if she saw this dress today? "I like that. ... I had that." Maybe?
I'm thinking some thrifting is in my near future! But, remember, don't just go pulling out every old 90's piece you have left! Here's a quick list of 90s trends that should NOT be resurrected! Let's be practical now. :)

So at the moment I am trying my hardest to avoid homework. I currently have The Oscars on the TV, Facebook minimized, and I am blogging away.
So since I am watching actors, I thought I would blog about a recent discovery I made. (I'm probably not the first to notice this.)
*Ahem* In a recent issue of Seventeen, Lily Collins was on the cover. Now, when I saw her on the cover, I simply thought, "Oh, that's the girl from that movie with Taylor Lautner." At the end of the magazine there was an interview with Lily. Just to let you know, I have a VERY weird way of looking through magazines, so I didn't read the interview right away, I did however look at the pictures. That is when it hit me.
Lily Collins looks like Audrey Hepburn.
Anyways, I decided to find some photos and put them side by side and let you compare them!
Maybe it's just me? I think it's uncanny!

Ah, Color Blocking, the only fashion trend I have noticed in which you actually need some knowledge of basic art to master. Now, I'm not a master in the least... I've simply been watching Youtube videos/tutorials like my life depends on it! (If you are curious about what constitutes Color Blocking, I recommend doing the same! So in my last post, I said I was going to try my hand at Color Blocking. So here's my attempt!
I tried to go with an analogous color theme: yellow, green, and blue (I figured blue was close enough to yellow and green!).

Okay, so I know I tell this time and time again to all my accounts, but I am reviving my blog!

I, like many people, have watched the celeb version video of this song. I thought it was cute, but I was much more impressed with the song itself. It's just too catchy! And the official video is quite hilarious. :)
ON TV: How could I NOT be obsessed with this show?! I love the story, the characters, the FASHION! It's so good! If you haven't watched Jane By Design, I highly recommend it! :)

It's true. I adore color blocking. Unfortunately, I have not mastered the trend yet. Or rather, I need to invest in some good color blocking staple pieces. I will be trying my hand at it tomorrow though! Pictures to come! :)
