Summer Haul...

Lovely Lips!

So this summer, along with getting a nice healthy tan, I have been obsessed with- you guessed it!- my lips! During the winter, moisturizing is a MUST, but it's important to not forget about it during the summer either! If there's something I can't stand, it's the feeling of chapped lips! It just bothers me so badly! 

Of course, I don't stick to chapstick alone. I love color! Thus, I have been picking up a few colors... here and there... :) [and a few other products to, of course! haha!]

Color Blocked!

Ah, Color Blocking, the only fashion trend I have noticed in which you actually need some knowledge of basic art to master. Now, I'm not a master in the least... I've simply been watching Youtube videos/tutorials like my life depends on it! (If you are curious about what constitutes Color Blocking, I recommend doing the same! There are some great videos out there!)Here is a website for basic color theory that can also get you started!

So in my last post, I said I was going to try my hand at Color Blocking. So here's my attempt!


I tried to go with an analogous color theme: yellow, green, and blue (I figured blue was close enough to yellow and green!).

And an update!

Okay, so I know I tell this time and time again to all my accounts, but I am reviving my blog!

"And I mean it this time!" she said determined as her face turned red with embarrassment, knowing this was the umpteenth time she declared such a thing.

Anyway, I've been ITCHING to blog something but couldn't think of anything! I've even started several posts, only to scrap them after bloggers block has stuck me. But I will publish this post! *determined*

I, like many people, have watched the celeb version video of this song. I thought it was cute, but I was much more impressed with the song itself. It's just too catchy! And the official video is quite hilarious. :)


ON TV:

How could I NOT be obsessed with this show?! I love the story, the characters, the FASHION! It's so good! If you haven't watched Jane By Design, I highly recommend it! :)

It's true. I adore color blocking. Unfortunately, I have not mastered the trend yet. Or rather, I need to invest in some good color blocking staple pieces. I will be trying my hand at it tomorrow though! Pictures to come! :)
